Department at a Glance:
The Department of Botany, established in 2019, initially offered Botany in the Pass course under CBCS curriculum. However with the introduction of NEP (FYUG) 2020 , implemented immediately in 2023, the Department became fully active with regular theory and practical classes, Botanical field trips and workshops. The Department is staffed with well-experienced Professors who are committed to providing continuous guidance to the students keeping their success in mind. The Department’s main focus areas are Ethnobotany, Medicinal Botany, Microbiology, Plant Physiology and Biochemistry. The Department is equipped with a Laboratory, a Botanical Garden and an updated Library.
