Department of Statistics:
The Department of Statistics was established in the year 2019 under the CBCS curriculum and later with the introduction of National Education Policy 2020, the Four Year Under Graduate (FYUG) program was introduced in the year 2023. The department focuses on helping students in developing a deep understanding of statistical concepts, theories, and methodologies so that they can effectively analyze and interpret data from various domains. At present Statistics Department is offering DSM and IDC courses in Statistics as per the syllabus of Assam University.
